I look back on a few individual songs off of the earlier records with real affection, probably because I can remember all the fun that went into writing and recording them. A few years ago at a club show on the sunshine coast I thought I would try a bit of crowd surfing. But the whole reason we wanted to play in a band together was 'cause we were friends and it was fun and it got us out of doing homework, and it was a reason to steal VBs from Nic's dad's fridge. That's the poster from next to Nic's dad's fridge! That's hilarious! So that's a weird bit of serendipity. It'd be so good'. And then when you play a gig it's like, 'That's great!
